opensource licenses. We are gradually adopting the specification, noting
that the tags are considered only advisory and do not, in any way,
superceed or replace the license texts.

Special thanks to Wind River for providing access to "The Duke of
Highlander" tool: an older (2014) run over FreeBSD tree was useful as a
starting point.

Initially, only tag files that use BSD 4-Clause "Original" license.

Revert previous commit and add myself to the list of people who should
know better than to commit with a cat in the area.

Add necessary include.

Don't type pun accidentally. Instead, be explicit that we're type
punning with an union so that the compiler knows.

Respect _BOOT flag.

Remove an unused variable.

Change u_intXX_t to uintXX_t. Change a couple of 'unsigned long's to
uint32_t where appropriate.
