Merge branch 'timers-core-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip

Pull timer updates from Thomas Gleixner:
"Rather large, but nothing exiting:

- new range check for settimeofday() to prevent that boot time
becomes negative.
- fix for file time rounding
- a few simplifications of the hrtimer code
- fix for the proc/timerlist code so the output of clock realtime
timers is accurate
- more y2038 work
- tree wide conversion of clockevent drivers to the new callbacks"

* 'timers-core-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip: (88 commits)
hrtimer: Handle failure of tick_init_highres() gracefully
hrtimer: Unconfuse switch_hrtimer_base() a bit
hrtimer: Simplify get_target_base() by returning current base

clockevents/drivers/stm32: Migrate to new 'set-state' interface

Migrate stm32 driver to the new 'set-state' interface provided by
clockevents core, the earlier 'set-mode' interface is marked obsolete
now.

This also enables us to implement callbacks for new states of clockevent
devices, for example: ONESHOT_STOPPED.

Merge tag 'drm-intel-fixes-2015-07-15' into drm-intel-next-queued

Backmerge fixes since it's getting out of hand again with the massive
split due to atomic between -next and 4.2-rc. All the bugfixes in
4.2-rc are addressed already (by converting more towards atomic
instead of minimal duct-tape) so just always pick the version in next
for the conflicts in modeset code.

All the other conflicts are just adjacent lines changed.

Merge branch 'timers-core-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip

Pull timer updates from Thomas Gleixner:
"A rather largish update for everything time and timer related:

- Cache footprint optimizations for both hrtimers and timer wheel

- Lower the NOHZ impact on systems which have NOHZ or timer migration
disabled at runtime.

- Optimize run time overhead of hrtimer interrupt by making the clock
offset updates smarter

- hrtimer cleanups and removal of restrictions to tackle some
problems in sched/perf

- Some more leap second tweaks

- Another round of changes addressing the 2038 problem

- First step to change the internals of clock event devices by
introducing the necessary infrastructure

- Allow constant folding for usecs/msecs_to_jiffies()

- The usual pile of clockevent/clocksource driver updates

The hrtimer changes contain updates to sched, perf and x86 as they
depend on them plus changes all over the tree to cleanup API changes
and redundant code, which got copied all over the place. The y2038
changes touch s390 to remove the last non 2038 safe code related to
boot/persistant clock"
