regulator: new API for voltage reference suppliesMerge series from David Lechner <dlechner@baylibre.com>:In the IIO subsystem, we noticed a pattern in many drivers where we needto get, enable and get the voltage of a supply that provides a referencevoltage. In these cases, we only need the voltage and not a handle tothe regulator. Another common pattern is for chips to have an internalreference voltage that is used when an external reference is notavailable. There are also a few drivers outside of IIO that do the same.So we would like to propose a new regulator consumer API to handle thesespecific cases to avoid repeating the same boilerplate code in multipledrivers. As an example of how these functions are used, I have included a fewpatches to consumer drivers. But to avoid a giant patch bomb, I haveomitted the iio/adc and iio/dac patches I have prepared from thisseries. I will send those separately but these will add 36 more usersof devm_regulator_get_enable_read_voltage() in addition to the 6 here.In total, this will eliminate nearly 1000 lines of similar code and willsimplify writing and reviewing new drivers in the future.

It's all driver specific stuff. The meson fixes from Jerome fix some rare timing issues with blockingoperations happening in triggers, plus the continuous clock supportwhich fixes clocking for some platforms. The SOF series from Peterbuilds to the fix to avoid spurious resets of ChainDMA which triggerederrors in cleanup paths with both PulseAudio and PipeWire, and there'salso some simple new debugfs files from Pierre which make support a loteaiser.

Add bridged amplifiers to cs42l43Merge series from Charles Keepax <ckeepax@opensource.cirrus.com>:In some cs42l43 systems a couple of cs35l56 amplifiers are attachedto the cs42l43's SPI and I2S. On Windows the cs42l43 is controlledby a SDCA class driver and these two amplifiers are controlled byfirmware running on the cs42l43. However, under Linux the decisionwas made to interact with the cs42l43 directly, affording the usergreater control over the audio system. However, this has resultedin an issue where these two bridged cs35l56 amplifiers are notpopulated in ACPI and must be added manually. There is at least anSDCA extension unit DT entry we can key off.The process of adding this is handled using a software node, firstly theability to add native chip selects to software nodes must be added.Secondly, an additional flag for naming the SPI devices is added thisallows the machine driver to key to the correct amplifier. Then finally, the cs42l43 SPI driver adds the two amplifiers directly onto its SPIbus. An additional series will follow soon to add the audio machine driverparts (in the sof-sdw driver), however that is fairly orthogonal tothis part of the process, getting the actual amplifiers registered.
